111 climbs in 111 days

Utusan Malaysia photographer Mohd Noor Mat Amin's feat of climbing Mt Kinabalu 111 times in 111 days will go into the Malaysia Book of Records.

Mohd Noor who took over three months to conquer South-east Asia's highest peak began his 111th climb at 7.20am and reached Timpohon Arch, Taman Kinabalu at 11.50am.

"I am thankful and glad to finish the 1Malaysia Solo 2009-2010 safely and on schedule. This proves that Malaysians too can create records just like Westerners," he said.
