Made In Malaysia

You see many wannabes acting, joking and singing on social networks like YouTube, all in the hopes they would get noticed by some big-time producer or talent scout and finally get the fame they think they so deserve.

A few get pass the video posting stage. A few would get a substantial number of hits giving them encouragement to try harder the next time. A handfull would get an email from the head of a recording company offering them a record deal.

One very lucky person who got that email was Izyan Alirahman or as she is better known, Zee Avi. What’s extra special for us Malaysians is that she’s one of us ... a true-blooded Malaysian.
